The European Health Management Association (EHMA) is dedicated to advancing superior health management practices for a healthier Europe. Established in 1982, EHMA is committed to disseminating knowledge on effective health management techniques to ensure that Europe's citizens and communities receive high-quality, safe, and value-based healthcare services. As the sole membership organization of its kind in Europe, EHMA brings together a diverse range of stakeholders, including health and hospital managers, healthcare professionals, researchers, academia, policymakers, and decision-makers, fostering collaboration and innovation in health management.

Provision of Translational Services
EHMA is involved in multiple projects to strengthen European health systems. These projects rely often on collaboration and engagement with relevant stakeholders across Europe. Language translations facilitate the involvement and dissemination of research and policy to the intended target groups. For example the collection of stakeholder views through questionnaires or interviews.

Contributions to the EHMA Conferences and Reports in 2019 & 2022
EHMA serves as a recognised and respected platform for promoting best practices in health management. Through its Annual Conference, EHMA facilitates the exchange of research and best practices, showcasing advancements in healthcare delivery at national, and organisational levels. The conference reports synthesizes key insights from in-depth discussions among experts.

Contributions to Strategy Plans
Strategy plans were developed for two initiatives of EHMA. These initiatives had the aim to more actively include members of the association and to provide them with a platform where they could contribute to the strengthening of health systems and advancement of best practices in Europe. The documents analysed strengths and weaknesses and provided a comprehensive framework to guide member involvement in a range of potential activities.
