I am a well versed professional with expertise in health policy and research. Over the past five years, I have honed my skills through collaborative efforts with international organisations such as the;
• World Health Organization (WHO)
• European Observatory on Health Systems and Policies (OBS)
• European Commission (EC)
• European Health Management Association (EHMA)
• European Health Parliament (EHP)
During this time, I have contributed to promoting sustainable and responsive health systems that cater to the diverse needs of individuals and communities. I have highlighted here some relevant experiences:

In 2023, I served the WHO as a technical officer to support the development of a 500-page book on Primary Health Care which was launched at the WHO European Regional Committee in Astana in October 2023.
In 2022, I was elected as chair of the committee on sustainable health systems with the European Health Parliament to develop and advocate European health policies in the European political centre in Brussels.
In 2021, I was contracted by the European Observatory on Health Systems and Policies to coordinate a series of workshops on innovation funding programmes for the development of new care & payment models for the Ministry of Health of France and the French National Agency of Statutory Health Insurance.

I obtained a master's degree in health economics & management (EU-HEM) from the following academic institutions: Erasmus University in Rotterdam, the University of Oslo, the University of Bologna, and the Management Centre in Innsbruck.
My bachelor's degree is in health & life sciences from the Free University of Amsterdam (VU). I also followed additional professional courses on the "Science & Business of Biotechnology" taught by professors from MIT and "Writing in the Sciences" taught by professors from Stanford.
Some of my more rigorous areas of expertise are in health finance, health innovation, and Primary Health Care. My academic background and continuous education have provided me with the tools to understand health topics from a health systems perspective (nationally and internationally), healthcare institutional perspective, epidemiological perspective, and biomedical perspective.
